A typical small cone below. This one has a typical apex angle.

A typical medium sized cone. This one has a narrow apex angle.

This medium to large cone in the overhang face was concealed until a
piece of overhang
fell away. The hat on the slab above places this one at about
eight inches long.

This large cone, at 14 to 18 inches will probably not remain intact as
it weathers out.
Only rarely will large cones weather out in one piece. Notice the
internal structure
of nested hematite cones, best seen in these larger cones.
