This is my current observatory. This picture was taken
during construction around 1999.
It is assigned observatory code 915 by the IAU for ease in generating
asteroid ephemerides
for use here.

Here is a part of my control room.
The left monitor controls most everything from opening the dome,
pointing the scope, slaving the dome roof to the scope, focusing the
main camera, changing filters ,autoguiding, imaging, viewing the inside
of the observatory to be sure everything is closed up when done and a
few other things. The right hand monitor has an independent
electronic finder view useful to calibrate the pointing of the big
scope and to monitor clouds and the horizon. The main function of
this room is it is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer
allowing all night observing runs if necessary and if the weather holds.
